Set Design

'The Toymaker' 2024

For this short, I was tasked with building a fully functional 1950's woodworking shed with a whimsical flair. I worked closely with the director and cinematographer to ensure the set both suited their needs and reflected the character's story.

Placing little nuggets of personality, such as the father's cowboy hat hung on the wall, or bird sketches splayed around the desk, helped create a fully immersive world.

I am confident working within tight budgets and constraints, and was able to source and design the entire set for under £70.

'KOLO Youth Theatre Project' 2025

I was contacted to production design this one-take film in conjunction with KOLO, a Ukrainian youth group telling their stories through this piece.

On this week-long project, I designed multiple set pieces on-location in a field, sourced and painted all props, included elements of Ukrainian culture, communicated with the director and participants about ethical considerations, and created a cohesive vision under a significant time constraints.

'Unsee Me' 2024

For this short I wrote and directed, I worked closely with the wonderful Production Designer Ben Border to build a safe, sturdy standing bed, with a split fabric panel at the back for our actress to 'fall through' (please see showreel for an example)

'ADi' 2026

For this short I wrote and directed, I worked closely with our amazing Production Designer Lukas Chodysz to create the bedroom for a young Indian boy. The intention was to create a warm, safe space reflecting the joy of childhood, whilst utilising wood tones and traditional toys to pull away from the current landscape of overwhelming colours and plastics marketed towards modern children.

Prop Building

Pulling from my realism skills, I enjoy creating whimsical and weathered props, miniatures, and sculptures using a combination of 3D printing, plaster, air dry clay, dried foliage, etc.

Pictured above is a miniature house I was commissioned to create as Production Designer for the 'KOLO Youth Theatre' project, telling the stories of Gloucestershire's Ukrainian youth in a one-take film.
